Second Meeting of the Parties - PARTIES SIGNED THE PROTOCOL ON PREVENTION OF WATER POLLUTION CAUSED BY NAVIGATION
The Parties to the FASRB considered issues related to implementation of the FASRB, work of the Sava Commission, passed decision on Adoption of the Report on implementation of the FASRB and work of the Sava Commission for the period April 1, 2007 – March 31, 2009, adopted the Declaration of the Second Meeting of Parties, provided the guidelines for further improvement of implementation of the FASRB in the Parties, etc.
Hereof, the Parties signed the Protocol on prevention of the water pollution caused by navigation to the Framework Agreement on the Sava River Basin. The Protocol was signed by:
- On behalf of Bosnia and Herzegovina, Mr. Veselin Poljašević, Deputy Minister, Ministry of Communications and Transport of Bosnia and Herzegovina,
- On behalf of the Republic of Croatia, Mr. Branko Bačić, State Secretary, Ministry of sea, transport and infrastructure,
- On behalf of the Republic of Serbia, Mr. Saša Dragin, Minister, Ministry of agriculture, forestry and water management, and
- On behalf of the Republic of Slovenia, Mr. Janez Požar, Director General, Maritime Directorate, Ministry of Transport.
Third Meeting of the Parties to the FASRB will be held in Ljubljana (Slovenia) in 2011.
