Mitja Bricelj, Ph.D., is a geographer. Activities and positions in the period 1990–2015: member of the Ministry for Environment Republic of Slovenia, co-funding member of International Commission for Sava River Basin, coordinator of Coastal Area Management Program Slovenia (UNEP/MAP 2004-2007), President of the Bureau of Barcelona Convention (2005-2008), Slovenian President od the International Commission for Protection Danube River/ICPDR (2010), (2014–2015) Coordinator of Environmental Pillar of European Strategy for Adriatic Ionian region /EU SAIR, initiator of the use of the »Sava language«;
Author of three independent publications and numeros articles; former president of Geografic Society of Slovenia.
Born in Priština, on April 24, 1962, Mrs. Nataša Milić graduated from the Faculty of Forestry at the University of Belgrade (Serbia), Department for Erosion Areas.
She began her professional career in year 1986 in Obrenovac Municipality as a Professional Associate for water management. She continued her career in the Ministry of Agriculture, Forestry and Water Management as the Republic Water Inspector (1992-2004). In 2004-2015 she worked as a Chief of Department for Water Protection in JVP ”Srbijavode”. She is currently the Acting Director of the Water Directorate at the Ministry of Agriculture and Environmental Protection.
Her main fields of work refer to water management and protection of water resources, law implementation, protection of eco-system, international cooperation, project management and coordination.
